Islam is a way of life, a scientific approach to living both for this life and the next. We were given the instructions by the Holy Prophet Muhammad (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam), and by following them, we can earn Allah's favor.

Ahlu-Sunnah wa’l-Jamaa’ah

The largest group of Muslims and the only one whose beliefs and teachings are truly in line with the Holy Quran and the Sunnah of the Beloved Habeeb (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam) is the Ahlu Sunnah Wal Jamaah. This group's beliefs are the same as those of the Salf-e-Saliheen and the Sahaba, or noble companions of the Holy Prophet (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam) (our great pious predecessors). In numerous Ahadith, the Holy Prophet (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam) urged the Muslims to adhere to his Sunnah and to uphold the Salf-e-Saliheen, his Sahaba, and the majority of Muslims by upholding the Ahlu Sunnah.

Maslake A'la Hadrat

Never did A'la Hadrat create a new religion in his honor. For his dedication to serving Islam and reforming the customs of our Rasool (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam), A'la Hadrat has received an award from ALLAH and His Holy Prophet (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam). As a result, A'la Hadrat serves as an introduction to ALLAH'S true religion; for this reason, Maslake A'la Hadrat is another name for Maslake Ahlu Sunnah Wa'l Jamaa'ah.

Kanz-ul-Iman

Kanz-ul-Iman meaning as 'Treasure of Faith ' is a famous Urdu paraphrase of the Holy Qur'an produced in 1911 by Sayyidi Imam Ahmed Rida Khan "A'la Hadrat," the Reviver of the 14th Islamic Century. Maulana Muhammad Aqib Farid al Qadri provided this translation into contemporary English.

The Holy Prophet Muhammad

(Sallal laahu Alaihi Wasallam)

When Rabi-ul-Awwal approaches and the moon of this lovely month is spotted, the gardens of Islam start to bloom, revealing the fragrance of the most exquisitely perfumed flowers, Muhammad Mustapha, the pearl of Allah's creation (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam).

Imam A'zam Abu Hanifa (Alaihir Rahmah)

Numan bin Thaabit bin Zuta bin Mah was the full name of Imam A'zam Abu Hanifa (alaihir rahmah). In the year 80 A.H., he was born in Kufa, Iraq.

Shaykh Abdul Qaadir Jeelani (Alaihir Rahmah)

Allah Almighty sends His Awliya to the earth at all times to guide mankind. They serve as role models for others to emulate. Some of them have such a significant and powerful influence on the globe that the world remembers and benefits from them long after their apparent demise.

Hadrat Khwaja Mu’inuddin Chisti (Alaihir Rahmah)

The founder of the Chistiya Order of Sufis in India was Sultan-ul-Hind Hadrat Khwaja Mu'inuddin Chisti Sanjari (alaihir rahmah), also known as Khwaja Ghareeb Nawaaz (The Benefactor of the Poor).

Muharram

The Islamic calendar year comes to a close in the month of Zil-Hijjah with the sacrifice of Eid al-Adha, and the New year begins in the month of Muharram with remembrance of Sayyiduna Imam Hussain's (Radi Allahu Anhu) martyrdom in history. The spirit of Islam in regards to Imaan principles was given fresh life by Hadrat Imam Hussain's (Radi Allahu Anhu) sacrifice. Islam's philosophy of sacrifice teaches us the important lesson that forms the cornerstone of its spirituality: forsaking one's nafs, or physical wants, in order to cultivate one's sabar, or patience.

Giving offerings in Commemoration of Imam Hussain

According to Sayyiduna Shaykh Abdul Azeez al-Muhaddith ad-Dahlawi, when the Fatihah, Surah al-Ikhlas, and other chapters of the Qur'an are recited over the meal offered in honor of Sayyiduna Imam Hussain, it is blessed. It is highly commendable to consume this dish [Fatawa Azeeziyyah Volume 1 Page 78]. Even preparing particular foods, like rice and other staples, is mentioned by Shaykh Abdul Azeez as being both legal and not sinful. After a few lines, Shaykh Abdul Azeez emphasizes that both rich and poor people can enjoy the food that is being given out in honor of a Saint or other revered individual. Ramadan (Fasting)

The fasting regulation is called Farz-e-Ain, and it is similar to the Namaz regulation in that those who disagree with its obligation (Farz) are considered Kafirs and those who skip it for no good cause are considered to be great sinners who would suffer punishment in hell.
